School Holiday Summer Tuition 2023/2024

Please fill in the following timetable with your preferred times in the WHITE SPACES. I suggest you select at least two preferences from the FREE spots in red for private lessons or designated GROUP classes in blue, in case you cannot be accommodated for your first preference. I will then invoice you via email with my account details and your payment is made via EFT. It is that easy!

  • Year 3-5 Crazy Times tables $77 GST for 45 minutes (group up to 4)
  • Year 2-10 Maths $106.70 GST inc 45 minutes (private), $93.50 GST inc 45 minutes (group up to 4)
  • Year 7-12 Study Skills $93.50 GST inc 45 minutes (group up to 4)
  • Year 11-12 Biology and Research Skills $114.40 GST inc 45 minutes (private), $106.70 inc 1 hour (group up to 4)
  • Year 1-10 Playberry Program $97 GST inc 45 minutes (private) *no group sessions available for this program
  • Any Year 10 % discount for siblings

Course Details

Crazy Times Tables (group only) – This program is designed specifically for Year 3-5 students to try alternative, fun ways of learning their times tables in a supportive small group environment. No more than four students will be included in the session.

Mathematics (private only) – This subject is specifically tailored to suit the individual needs of the student through reviewing past concepts and/or introducing new concepts for those students who require extension in line with the new Australian Curriculum version 9 (F-10): https://v9.australiancurriculum.edu.au/.

Playberry Literacy Program (private only) – This gold-standard phonics-based literacy program is endorsed by Dyslexia SA/SPELD (SA). The Playberry Literacy program is specifically designed to assist those students with diagnosed dyslexia.

Research Skills (Preparation for Research Project and Activating Identities in Futures) – This session is designed to assist students with their studies in either the Year 11 Research Project or the AIF compulsory research subjects. Students will learn skills, such as how to conduct online research and personal interviews.

Study Skills (group sessions only) – This program comprising of two 45-minute sessions is specifically designed for secondary school students. There are 3 levels available including: Year 7/8 (junior secondary school), Year 9/10 (middle secondary school) and Year 11/12 (senior secondary school). Each study skill level provides useful study tips designed to help improve the student’s organisational and academic progress, as they transition through the three key phases of secondary schooling. Topics include: how to develop a study/relaxation timetable (Part A only), strategies to improve understanding and memory, how to motivate yourself and beat procrastination and using time effectively to meet deadlines.

Year 11 SACE Biology (group of up to four) – These 45-minute sessions will involve explicit teaching of key sections in the Microorganisms and Infectious Diseases topic of the Year 11 SACE Biology course. All students will receive a revision booklet to support the topics covered. No more than 4 students will be included in the session at a time. Sessions A and B can be completed as stand-alone sessions or both can be completed.

Year 12 SACE Biology Small Group Revision Courses (group of up to four) – These 1 – hour sessions will involve explicit teaching of selected parts of the Year 12 SACE Biology course. All students will receive revision booklets to support the topics covered. No more than 4 students will be included in the session at a time. Sessions include: 1. Preparing for the SHE Assignment, 2. An Introduction to DNA and 3. An Introduction to Cells. The latter two sessions are being offered are being repeated twice to offer flexibility.
